Ryon Emerton Residential / Farm & Ranch

Ryon Emerton has become the go-to real estate agent for anyone buying or selling a horse property in the Austin area.

Ryon grew up on the largest Quarter Horse ranch in Australia at that time, and his father, a cutting horse trainer, was the leading money winner in Australia when he retired from the sport.  The family also played key horse production roles and provided horses to movies including Australia, and Quigley Down Under.

Ryon followed in his father’s bootsteps and, came to the US fresh out of high school in 2001 as a professional cutting horse trainer. The highlights of his 15 year career include a third place finish in the NCHA Futurity Final, the premier competition event for professional cutting competitors worldwide.

During Ryon’s years as a professional trainer, he developed a thorough understanding of the best practices in horse property operation and development, and inked multi-million dollar facility designs that have since been used as the model for several other properties.
